Medicine Wheel

A tiny medicine wheel I made using epidote in the north, celestite in the east, carnelian in the south, labradorite in the west and river stones between the quarters. In the center I used moonstone for Grandmother Moon/the Goddess and pyrite for Grandfather Sun/the God.

Pretty. And pretty powerful looking. What is epidote?

Oooh, this is lovely. I really like how you used the natural stones in combination with the crystals. I find myself gravitating more and more toward natural stones that I find in streams and on walks. :)

Epidote is a gorgeous earthy green stone that's excellent for enhancing one's individual attributes: stopping self criticism, creating goals, accepting one's weaknesses with grace while increasing personal power, etc... When I build a new earth/medicine wheel I choose the stones purely by intuition for where I am at that point in my life and epidote fit the bill nicely for my north/earth quarter.

Thanks, Victoria. I will be on the look-out for epidote now.
